The Gen-Next Charminar

Happy New year to everyone. I didn't have any idea to begin such a blog when I logged in today.
In a way, I write this to remind me of my days in Hyderabad. I'm a person who always thinks about the present as past , sitting in the future. It is the memory of the past , more than the energy of the present that excite me.

As of date, I'm suffering from severe cold, thanks to the inclement weather of the city. When I typed in weather; I tend to remember the way I used to confuse weather with whether. I'm still not entirely clear about the right usage; those two words never fail to confuse me when they are put together in front of me. And invariably, they would present themselves like Siamese twins.

The image on this page is called HiTex, modeled on the famous Charminar. It is very close to my room, even closer to my office. Four steel columns standing on the downside of a hilly road makes it a picture perfect image of the gen-next Hyderabad.I wonder how "X" became affiliated to anything that is cool, hippy or trendy.I see a lot of "X" everywhere around me.No non-hyderabadi would believe if I say that more than half of the people who come to work in Hyderabad are either not interested in Charminar or for the one-time visitors, they never have the feeling to visit that place again.

On January 20, I, along with my three friends from Pune would've completed six eventful months in Hyderabad. We've not explored Hyderabad till this date, I know very few places around Hyderabad. I believe coming months would allow us to find and learn more about the city feeding me three times a day.
